One of the benefits of my job is that I get to support schools and educators in changing the lives of their students. One of the places I had the opportunity to do this was in Nashville, TN. I was on a mission to go to the Grand Ole Opry. I'm glad I experienced it.
Every morning I went out for a run. I ran in different places each time. One thing I found interesting was Broadway. In the morning I ran down Broadway (famous for its honky tonks) and it was clean. The bar owners were out cleaning the sidewalks; hosing them down. At night my supervisor (Gretchen) and I walked down Broadway. It was alive with people!
